Contractor/GC: This type of policy is much like the above but the Artisan contractor has ventured out to larger projects. There are portions of the job that the Artisan does but then other portions are contracted to others with or without their own General Liability coverage. General Contractor: The general contractor is a totally different policy. This policy is written for the person that rarely or never has a personal stake at doing the work. Each portion of the project is sub-contracted out to Artisan contractors and the General Contractor over-sees the projects and its completion.
